POLAND SEE MORE – HALF PRICE WEEKEND

17 January 2020

The call for participation in the 8th edition of the “POLAND SEE MORE – A WEEKEND FOR HALF PRICE” campaign has been launched. We invite entrepreneurs in the tourism industry, local government institutions, hoteliers, restaurateurs, organizations and institutions related to tourism services, as well as sports event organizers – registration lasts until January 31. The spring edition will be held on the weekend of March 20-22. Participation in the campaign is not only a chance to attract new customers from Poland and abroad, but also an excellent opportunity for free advertising.

The “POLAND SEE MORE – WEEKEND FOR HALF PRICE” initiative is organized by the Polish Tourist Organization in cooperation with the Ministry of Development. Its goal is to extend the tourist season in Poland. In this way, the Polish Tourist Organization wants to support entrepreneurs in the tourism industry, for whom early spring and late autumn are often a dead period.

— I encourage all entrepreneurs to join the “POLAND SEE MORE – WEEKEND FOR HALF PRICE” campaign. I am convinced that this is a chance for you to attract new customers and fill your facilities outside the main season. We are already seeing an increase in domestic short-term trips. Together, we can reinforce this trend and encourage Poles to travel all year round,” says Development Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz.

— Participation in the “POLAND SEE MORE – A WEEKEND FOR HALF PRICE” project is also an excellent opportunity for partners joining it to advertise for free. The campaign is widely covered by both national and local media. The Polish Tourist Organization will also conduct an advertising campaign on the Internet and in means of transportation, including PKP Intercity trains and PKS Polonus buses. We will also once again promote the campaign outside our country,” added Polish Tourist Organization President Robert Andrzejczyk.

The campaign will be promoted in ten markets from which more than 2/3 of all foreign tourists come to Poland. In addition to our neighbors: Belarus, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Germany, Russia, Slovakia and Ukraine, the PTO will also invite tourists from Finland, Norway and Sweden to Poland.

The main beneficiary of the campaign is the travel and tourism industry. The Polish Tourist Organization is offering marketing support for the action’s partners on the Internet, in the media and in means of transportation. The PTO is allocating about PLN 200,000 for the campaign. The action’s partners, as many as 90% of whom declare participation in future editions, point to three main benefits of participating in the action – advertising for their businesses, reaching new customers and increasing the number of visitors.

— In the action “POLAND SEE MORE – WEEKEND FOR HALF PRICE” we took part for the first time in spring 2019. Interest exceeded our expectations, so without hesitation we decided to continue our cooperation with the PTO.  Thanks to the campaign, we have the opportunity to reach a wider audience and provide even more guests with an exceptional culinary experience. Interestingly – during the November installment of the event, our restaurant was visited by a great number of guests not only from Poland, but also from abroad assesses the action Beata Bronowicz, Belvedere sales director.

Applications can be sent using the form found at www.polskazobaczwiecej.pl. It takes only a few minutes to join the campaign. Partners who participated in the previous edition do not need to register. All they need to do is update the offer on their account. The website contains detailed information on the action, regulations and instructions for submitting offers.

LOT Polish Airlines is the strategic partner of the action, while PKS Polonus and PKP Intercity support the initiative as promotional partners.
