We cordially invite you to a nature walk “In the footsteps of Theodor Fontane in Dąbroszyn”. We will walk through the former Dąbroszyn estate, admire the modern nature, but also look for its historical fragments, referring to the former course of the Warta River or the activity of the ice sheet. We will consider what the palace park looked like as seen through the eyes of the famous German traveler, reporter and pharmacist Theodor Fontane. We will try to touch the same tree trunks that the great Prussian ruler Frederick the Great might have touched. We will squat in the same vantage points where the young Frederick might have met the beautiful and sensitive owner of Dąbroszyn, Luisa Eleonora von Vreech. We will walk on Sunday, September 20. We will meet at 9 am in the palace park in Dąbroszyn under the ginkgo tree. According to sources, it is one of the largest trees of this species in the country. The circumference of its trunk is as much as 310 cm! The tour will last about 2-2.5 hours. For epidemiological reasons, only the first fifteen people who register by phone will be taken on the tour: 957524026 or by email: edukacja@pnujsciewarty.gov.pl Please bring masks with you.
