We would like to invite you to a virtual conference on the “Johannite Project”,November 25, 2020 at 13:00. Under the management of the Municipality of Słońk, the project “Tourist valorization of the history of the Order of St. John in the Polish-German borderland” has been implemented since October 2019. – “Joannite Project” for short. The project is financed within the framework of the Interreg VA Brandenburg-Poland Cooperation Program 2014-2020. Partners in the project are the Municipality of Słońk(lead partner), as well as the city of Seelow and the Brandenburg Commandery of the Order of St. John. The aim of the project is to develop tourism related to the former castle of the Order of St. John in Słońk, as well as to some 15 other towns in the Oder and Warta region whose history is linked to the order, which include Lagow, Sulęcin, Neuhardenberg and Lietzen. A tourist trail will be designed with the project funds. In addition, interesting marketing instruments are being created, such as a mobile app, a tourist map, an interactive permanent exhibition, a film, information boards and much more. The project will last until December 31, 2021. In order to present the current results and coordinate upcoming activities, an online information event on the aforementioned project is being organized on November 25, 2020. The ZOOM conference platform will be used for this. A preliminary program with a link to the meeting and accompanying technical instructions will be sent to you.
