18 February 2021

Accommodation facilities, museums and other cultural institutions with exhibition activities may be open with a sanitary regime. It’s high time to remind travel-thirsty Poles about domestic tourist attractions. To this end, the call for entries for the second edition of the Waiting for You contest has begun.

The Polish Tourist Organization has decided to organize another installment of the “Waiting for You!” contest to remind tourists that Poland has many attractive tourist products that can’t wait for visitors to return to them. The contest begins on Monday, February 15 this year, and entries can be submitted until February 28 this year.

The competition task is to prepare a video of 15 to 30 seconds in length, encouraging visitors to the facility – after the end of the period of social isolation. The theme of the competition task is the slogan: “We are waiting for you!”. The Competition Chapter will select the 5 best works. Their quality and creativity will be judged.

The contest film should be sent using one of the following two file transfer tools: wetransfer.com or filemail.com, in the sender’s field entering your e-mail address, in the recipient’s field entering the address konkurs@pot.gov.pl and completing the entry form with the title of the film and the name of the town and province where the tourist service depicted in the film is provided. Each participant in the contest is entitled to submit one film.

Last year, the competition was dedicated to the winners of competitions of the Polish Tourist Organization, such as PTO Certificates, EDEN, On the countryside best. This year’s edition is directed to the tourism industry in the broadest sense, namely tourism products, destinations, municipalities, accommodation facilities, museums, etc.

The competition prize is a promotional campaign including the presentation of the awarded videos on PTO social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and Twitter) including a paid campaign on the facebook profile polska.travel.
