Information on the current situation in the context of Covid-19-related restrictions in the Czech Republic, Israel and Hungary.

We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the current situation in the Czech Republic , Israel and Hungary in terms of restrictions on travel between Poland and these countries, the plans of governments to lift restrictions, the situation in the tourism industry, including, among other things, the functioning of the tourist infrastructure and important information for the industry and observed trends, changes in travel preferences, promotional activity of other countries.

 1Czech RepublicTravelers from Poland may enter the Czech Republic only in justified cases (e.g., for work, medical treatment, family reasons, official reasons), as long as they have a negative coronavirus test. For these individuals, arrival in the Czech Republic for more than 12h requires: filling out an electronic location form (https://plf.uzis.cz/) and showing a negative PCR test taken no later than 72h before entry (an antigen test no longer authorizes entry beyond 12h), and then undergoing quarantine and repeating the PCR test in the Czech Republic at the earliest 5 days after entry and no later than 14 days after entry (https://www.mvcr.cz/mvcren/imgDetail.aspx?docid=22293714).  Also exempt from quarantine after crossing the Polish-Czech border and having a negative test result for SARS-CoV-2 are persons who have been vaccinated against COVID-19, who have been issued a certificate of protective vaccination with a vaccine that has been approved for marketing in the European Union, and persons who have completed home isolation, isolation or hospitalization due to SARS-CoV-2 virus infection no later than 6 months before the day of crossing the border of the Republic of PolandOn April 12, the state of emergency in the Czech Republic ceased. The number of new infections has begun to decline, and the situation in hospitals is improving.In the Czech system of labeling European countries for travel safety, Poland is on the list of countries with the highest risk of contracting the coronavirus. Hotels can only accommodate business travel customers, while restaurants can offer take-out food.Shopping centers, schools, kindergartens, services, swimming pools, cinemas, theaters are closed. Due to the lack of mobility, domestic trips are preferred. Promotional campaigns mainly take place online.
 2IzraelIsraeli entry to Poland: Land and sea border crossings open to passenger traffic as of March 26, 2021 (by order of the Minister of Interior and Administration dated March 25, 2021). LOT Polish Airlines is resuming direct flights between Poland and Israel as of mid-April this year. Ryanair has already resumed flights between Krakow and Tel Aviv as of March 30.Entry to Israel: Israeli citizens and foreigners (with the right to stay in Israel) can cross the border by air. No entry limits apply, need to take a PCR test at the airport upon arrival in Israel. Prior vaccination or passing covid-19 exempts from quarantine upon arrival.In addition, a regulation is being implemented to allow entry for foreigners with vital interests in Israel, such as those with close family, businessmen, etc.  As of March 28, the land border with Egypt has been opened, with an exit and entry limit of 300 people per dayWith about 60% of the total population already vaccinated (including about 80% of those aged 50-60), a gradual unfreezing of the economy/obesity is underway. Vaccinated Israeli citizens can travel abroad. “Green passports” are officially accepted only by Greece. No quarantine or testing is required when entering this country. Other countries such as Bulgaria, Albania, UAE, Seychelles, Montenegro, USA, Turkey, Maldives, Egypt, Jordan, Georgia accept tourists from Israel. Some require a test upon arrival. The Israeli government is also in talks with the European Union and individual European countries separately. Cyprus opens to Israelis as of April 1.There is no limit on the distance of kilometers from the place of residence.Hotels open in green zones for people with a “green passport” (vaccinated or recovered).Open shopping malls, gyms, swimming pools, cultural centers for people with a “green passport”; a 50% occupancy limit applies in selected places.Restaurants have been opened. Vaccinated persons are allowed inside restaurants. Unvaccinated persons, outside restaurantsConsumers are very happy with the opening of Israel’s borders. They buy airline tickets not where they want to fly, but where they can currently fly (Cyprus). They are waiting for the opening of the borders of Europe and the world
 3SłowacjaPolish citizens entering the Slovak Republic are subject to absolute quarantine in home or state isolation centers for a period of 14 days, after mandatory registration on a dedicated website: http://korona.gov.sk/ehranica. Exempted from mandatory quarantine are, among others, drivers of freight transport, health care, funeral parlors and buses, pilots and crews of aircraft, as well as drivers and rail transport operators. Also exempt from quarantine after crossing the Polish-Slovak border and having a negative test result for SARS-CoV-2 are persons vaccinated against COVID-19, who have been issued a certificate of immunization with a vaccine that is approved for marketing in the European Union, and persons who have completed isolation in a domestic setting, isolation or hospitalization due to infection with SARS-CoV-2 virus, no later than 6 months before the day of crossing the border of the Republic of Poland,Intensified controls are being carried out on compliance with the applicable restrictions on free movement within the territory of Slovakia, and in the border areas controls on compliance with the rules for entry from across the border. Accordingly, the following Polish-Slovak border crossings have been closed for passenger and cargo traffic: Radoszyce-Palota; Oženna-Nižná Polianka; Muszynka-Kurov; Leluchów-Čirč; Szczawnica-Lesnica; Niedzica-Lysá nad Dunajcom; Lysa Polana-Tatranská Javorina; Chochołów-Suchá Hora; Winiarczykówka-Bobrov; Ujsoły-Novot;authorities in the Slovak Republic have imposed a state of emergency throughout the country until April 28, 2021. There are no restrictions on movement in the country. Tourists and mountaineers hiking in the high mountains are required to report the route, the expected time of the trip to the mountains and the time of return. Hotels can only accommodate customers on business trips, while restaurants can offer take-out food.Mass events are prohibited, and all shopping and service outlets such as theaters, swimming pools and fitness centers are closed. Ski resorts have been closedDue to the lack of travel, closed border crossings, domestic trips are preferred. Promotional campaigns mainly take place online.
 4WęgryRestrictions on crossing the Hungarian border remain in place. Foreign permanent residents and their family members, as well as those with documents authorizing a stay of more than 90 days issued by the Hungarian Migration Office, are treated equally with Hungarian citizens. Documents proving the above must be presented upon entry. Other foreigners are not allowed to enter Hungary in personal traffic for the purpose of residence. Exception: those who prove the purpose of their travel and receive permission from the relevant police authority depending on the intended place of border crossing.Train and bus services to Poland are suspended. Hungary has been under a state of emergency since November 5, 2020, which has been extended until May 23, 2021. Throughout the country, a ban has been imposed on movement between 8:00 pm and 05:00 am (exceptions are those doing work, commuters, the need to avoid property damage, life and health emergencies, etc.).Restaurants are closed (takeaway food sales possible).Shops, hairdressers, service outlets, etc. are open until 7:00 pm, large only pharmacies and gas stations. Hotels do not accept tourists, only those traveling for business or training purposes.Entertainment facilities (fitness clubs, indoor swimming pools, theaters, museums, the zoo, etc.) are closed.All assemblies/ celebrations are banned.Sports events can only be held without spectators.Outdoor sports are allowed, while amateur team sports are prohibitedDue to the ongoing state of emergency, business is still limited, as is tourist traffic. The situation has been unchanged since last November.
