Objectives and scope of the course: to expand the knowledge and competencies of the course participants on the values and tourist attractions of the 16 provinces in Poland, along with an introduction to the specifics of the work of a tour guide in the country.
Number of classes: 64 clock hours (4 hours of classes for each province).
Duration: from 07.06.2021r to 23.08.2021. (frequency of classes: on average once every 1-2 weeks).
Recipients of the course: professional group of tour pilots.
Assuming that the domestic market after the “unfreezing” of the economy will return to relative normality in the sanitary regime, this will create an opportunity for tour pilots conducting trips in Poland to return to work. Due to the closure of many countries or the mandatory quarantine imposed upon arrival in a country, a significant number of tourists have given up traveling abroad. However, many of them will not give up their vacation, so they will focus their attention on domestic tourism. As a result, the demand for domestic tourist pilots will also increase.
The Polish Tourist Organization, meeting the expectations of the market and the professional group of tour pilots, is offering a free retraining course for tour pilots, which will be implemented in cooperation with the Forum of Regional Tourist Organizations.
Tour pilots who have so far specialized in foreign tours will, through a refresher course, be given the opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge of the tourist assets of all 16 provinces and expand their information on the specifics of working in Poland. Obtaining a certificate of completion of the course, should be one of the arguments for such pilots to enter the domestic market and find their way there smoothly and quickly. In the case of pilots already working in the domestic market, they will be given the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the tourist attractions of the various provinces, as a result of which the demand for their services should steadily increase.

- Enrollment of participants will be on a first-come, first-served basis,
- Number of classes: 64 clock hours – 4 hours per topic of each province
