Proper and good road signage is one of the basic elements of road safety. Regardless, the content and form, as well as the type of signs erected depend on their effectiveness as an element of information activities, which in turn is an element of the image (of the state, region, province, district, municipality…) as a tourist product. Hence, information about tourist attractions should be one of the important elements of the state’s promotional policy. The proper filling of road signs with tourist content is one of the criteria for the evaluation that visitors to Poland (but also our citizens) give Poland as a country that aspires to be attractive to tourists.
