The organizer of the regional stage is the Lubuskie Regional Tourist Organization “LOTUR”. The Certificates of the Polish Tourist Organization is the most important award in the industry. It is a recommendation and a guarantee of services at the highest level. It raises the rank of the tourist product, strengthens its position in offers to customers The competition aims to raise the quality and competitiveness of the tourist offer by creating products that not only stand out for their tourist attractiveness, but are also innovative and tourist-friendly. Each year, the competition’s chapter pays special attention to the accessibility of a tourist product and the use of modern technologies and innovations in its development. The following products can compete for PTO Certificates: cyclical event, package of tourist services – tourist event, object, trail, place – area. In the Lubuskie region, we are competing for Lubuskie Tourist Pearls. The best are nominated for the national stage.

The purpose of the competition is to increase the quality and competitiveness of the tourist offer by creating products that are not only distinguished by their tourist attractiveness, but are also innovative and tourist-friendly. The following products can compete for PTO Certificates: cyclical event, package of tourist services – tourist event, facility, trail, place – area.
In the Lubuskie region, we are competing for Lubuskie Tourist Pearls. The best are nominated for the national stage.
Awards are given in 4 categories:
• PTO Certificate
• PTO Gold Certificate
• Internauts’ Certificate
• Special Certificate
The most prestigious award, the selection of which arouses the most emotions, is the Gold Certificate. The competition’s chapter can award it to a tourism product at the earliest three years after the PTO Certificate was awarded. In 2019. The PTO Gold Certificate was awarded to the Historic Silver Mine in Tarnowskie Góry. In 2020, the competition was not held due to the pandemic.
The jury also selects the Special Certificate. This award is dedicated to products that have been on the market for a relatively short time, less than two years, but have great potential.
Web and social media users also have a voice in the PTO competition. In the autumn, they will be able to evaluate the designated products in the Internauts’ Certificate competition. Voting will take place at www.polska.travel.
All certified tourist products are included in the promotional program of the Polish Tourist Organization. The prize for the winner of the PTO’s Gold Certificate is a promotional campaign worth no less than PLN 150,000. Previous winners of the competition of the Polish Tourist Organization are presented on the National Tourism Portal certyfikaty.polska.travel.
Stages of the competition:
• Stage I – regional: 8.07-20.09.2021.
(PTO accepts applications from ROTs online until 30.09.2021).
• Stage II – nationwide: 1-22.10.2021 r.
• Certificate Award Ceremony: November/December 2021. (stationary or online depending on the pandemic situation).
