On 18.XII.this year an Extraordinary General Meeting of Members of the Lubusian Tourist Organization was held. It was opened by Jadwiga Błoch, chairwoman of LOTUR, who also chaired the meeting. At the beginning there was a nice touch – P. Beata Pawlikowska was awarded the badge of Lubuskie guide. The scrutiny committee elected the Mayor of Krosno Odrz, Mr. Chinalski and Ms. Beata Pawlikowska. As agreed at the previous General Meeting of LOTur Members, a representative of the Marshal’s Office, indicated by the Marshal of the Voivodeship, Mr. Waldemar Sluzocki, was proposed for the fifth seat on the Board. There were no more nominations . In a secret ballot Mr. Waldemar Sluzocki was elected unanimously. Accordingly, Resolution No. 1/2008 of 18.XII.08 was adopted to appoint Mr. Waldemar Slugocki as the second vice chairman.

On 18.XII.this year an Extraordinary General Meeting of Members of the Lubusian Tourist Organization was held.
In the first term there was no qquorum. The meeting began at the second term. According to the agenda:

- Election of vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of LOTUR
- Adoption of a resolution on amendments to the Statute of the Lubusian Tourist Organization
- Summary of the 9th All-Poland Tourism Workshop

- Report of the Committee on Motions and Resolutions
- Conclusion of the meeting
The opening was done by LOTUR chairwoman Jadwiga Błoch, who also chaired the meeting.

As agreed at the previous LOTur General Meeting of Members, a representative of the Marshal’s Office, designated by Marshal Mr. Waldemar Slugocki, was proposed for the fifth seat on the Board. There were no more nominations . In a secret ballot Mr. Waldemar Sluzocki was elected unanimously. Accordingly, Resolution No. 1/2008 of 18.XII.08 was adopted to appoint Mr. Waldemar Slugocki as the second vice-chairman.
In connection with proposals to amend the Statute of LOTUR, the floor was taken by J. B£OCH. She proposed, following the voice of the Polish Tourist Organization, to unify the names and terms in our statute, so that they are consistent with other Regional Tourist Organizations.
- Pertains to the name of the organization, the word REGIONAL should be added so that we are associated by the general public as a Regional Tourist Organization and not a local one as the current name suggests.
The current name after unanimous vote is
LUBUSKIE REGIONAL TOURIST ORGANIZATION “LOTUR”
2. It concerns the terms chairman, vice-chairman , in accordance with the Law on the PTO all regional organizations use the terms chairman vice-chairmen, as the only organization we have other names hence the request for unification.
After a unanimous vote, the changes were made by deleting the words “chairman” and “vice-chairman” from the following paragraphs and inserting the words “chairman” and “vice-chairmen” in these places .
Then Ms. Jadwiga Błoch summarized the IX All-Poland Tourist Workshops organized by LOTUR in Lagow, which brought success to our organization.
President Jadwiga Błoch presented the work plan for LOTUR for 2009, which was approved by those present, at the same time it was proposed that the plan be emailed to all members for acceptance by others not present.
No comments or motions were made and the meeting was concluded at this point.

On the election of Vice-Chairman of the Board of the Association of the Lubusian Tourist Organization LOTur.
Pursuant to § 23 item 2 and § 27 item 1 of the Statute of the Lubusian Tourist Organization LOTur is resolved :
§ 1
The following is hereby elected Second Vice-Chairman of the Board of the Lubusian Tourist Organization LOTUR:

The resolution comes into force on the date of adoption
